چکیده

INTRODUCTION: Acromioclavicular joint dislocation is a commonly encountered shoulder injury. Various surgical methods are available for the treatment of complete ACJ (type III to VI), however, optimal still controversial. The purpose this study was evaluate radiological and functional outcome anatomic coracoclavicular reconstruction (ACCR) using semitendinosus autograft with suture augmentation type V dislocation. MATERIALS AND METHODS: It single centered, cross sectional, observational conducted at Department Orthopedics Traumatology, Dhulikhel Hospital. Twenty-three consecutive patients who underwent ACCR from Jan 2017 Dec 2019 were included in study. Patients below 18 years age previous ipsilateral injury excluded. assessed (CC) distance DASH score Constant score. Paired t-test Pearson correlation used inferential analysis. RESULTS: Mean patient 33.83 ± 7.08 years. duration follow up 28.17 6.19 months. CC final 9.93 1.12 mm. 5.60 5.35 mean 88.04 12.13. There 12 (52.17%) excellent outcomes, 6 (26.08%) good 2 (8.69%) fair outcomes 3 (13.04%) poor based on scores. CONCLUSIONS: an effective method management acromioclavicular

Comparison of Acute Acromioclavicular Joint Dislocation Treatment by Screw Fixation with and without Ligament Reconstruction

Background & Aims: Acute acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocation is common in shoulder injuries. Considering the biomechanics of this joint, the use of a treatment method, which can restore joint physiology and biomechanics to the extent possible, is important. This study aimed to compare the treatment of acute AC joint dislocation by screw fixation with and without ligament reconstruction. Me...
